I gain inspiration from revealing the hidden beauty in everyday mundane life. Seemingly boring objects often have hidden surprises! I steer clear of special effects and let the interaction of light and my subjects create the images. I focus on visualising life, quite literally, in a different light... |

Freedom

This dramatic print was produced from separate photographic images transferred to high contrast film to eliminate mid tones. The moiré effect around the bird was created by combining and twisting two identical negatives, before merging it with the pylon image. The final image was hand printed and selenium toned (chemically) before scanning for reproduction. Prices from £120 for a mounted print. |

| Education and biography |
| I Studied scientific and industrial photography at Harrow, leaving with a 1st degree. After a lengthy career in forensic science, I now use my skills to explore the everyday world in new ways. I currently exhibit my work at galleries, exhibitions and on various online sites. |
