Art has always played an important role in my life ever since I can remember and has given me an endless amount of enjoyment and satisfaction. This is why I have chosen to be a community artist. The passion and enthusiasm that art can create within people is contagious and this is the message I want to bring to my work and try to pass on to others, which can often mean trying to turn a negative into a positive (I enjoy the challenge!)
Through my experience I have learnt that engaging with communities on all different levels can be the route to a successful art project.
