Works available by the following artists available:
Paul Marks, Vincenzo Balsamo, Martina Schumacher, Richard Batty, Glory Charles, Sarawut Chutiwongpeti, Wang Guangyi, Doris Baum, Thomas Reinhold, Helen Steele, Gustav Troger, Axel Staudinger, Christoph Schmidberger, Wolfgang Becksteiner, Nicholas Socrates, Domenico Olivero, Alessandro Rinaldi and Martino Caridi and Edith Temmel.

My first prodigy was Christoph Schmidberger, whose great talent I recognised in January 2003. I retired from academia and became his unpaid personal manager, introducing him to galleries and collectors around the world. Getting his superb works into important museums and Collections - The Albertina, The Belvedere,
The Saatchi Collection, The Essl Collection,
and to many other renown collectors.

My work with and for Christoph Schmidberger until 2006 in Europe, New York and Los Angeles has proved highly successful to his career. As Christoph became increasingly famous, he no longer required my guidance.

I moved on to spot and help other very talented artists. Now in 2000 I have eighteen artists under my wings and operate my own gallery HF Contemporary Art - Helga Fox.

We had in 2008 and 2009 a number of high-profile exhibitions of solo shows by HERMANN NITSCH, HELEN STEELE, NICHOLAS SOCRATES, GLORY CHARLES and a solo show of CHRISTOPH SCHMIDBERGER at the Vienna Fair with a solo show of works by Christoph Schmidberger.

In February 2009 we presented Vincenzo Balsamo, Paul Marks and Richard Batty at the Innsbruck Art Fair.

HF Contemporary Art - Helga Fox made a huge impact with a colourful acrylic mirror by Martina Schumacher at the entrance to the Innsbruck Art Fair.

Helga Fox was also responsible for staging a world premier by the Norbert Zehm Ensemble on the night of the Opening.

In Vienna we exhibited in April 2008 some of the finest earlier works by Christoph Schmidberger 2001-2006 and we displayed a fascinating mirror glass sculpture by Gustav Troger entitled 'Thinking Object' 2008, which attracted considerable attention from the media and the public alike.

In Innsbruck we showcased in booth B/02 brilliant works by the Cubist painter Vincenzo Balsamo, a series of smaller earlier works by Christoph Schmidberger, the vibrant oil painting entitled 'Mana Tree' by Richard Batty, Paul Marks' large oil painting Ecstacy Dawn', abstract works by the emerging Antiguan artist Glory Charles, Nicholas Socrates and the two bronze sculpturesby Axel Staudinger Gustav Troger respectively.

Brilliant works by my outstanding artists are available for private viewing just outside N. London.

Mana Tree - Innsbruck Art Fair 2008
Helga Fox at the Innsbruck Art Fair with works by the astonishingly talented young London artist Richard Batty. In this particular picture we have the 'Mana Tree' 2007 by Richard Batty, telling of the multi-cultural, mult-ethnic life surrounding him in Islington, Lonson. It is a most enjoyable and amusing account of aspects of diversity influencing everyday life in his immediate surroundings. Bothbiblical and non-Christian references are being made, historic events adumbrated while social criticism are being highligted. Other artists in the image are cubist paintings by Vincenzo Balsamo and photography on silk by the young London photographer Elizabeth Klanga. Any information about the above artists and their works is obtainable only though Helga Fox, info@hfcontemporaryart.com Tel/Fax +44(0)17207 257048 Mobile +44(0)7768 794272

Dinosaur Bones, a Volcano and the Dragon by Richard Batty

2008
oil on linen
192cm x 104cm

Dinosaur Bones, a Volcano and the Dragon by Richard Batty
In the work 'Dinosaur Bones, a Volcano and the Dragon', the artist Richard Batty offers an insight into the myth of of dragons and today's understanding of the discovery of prehistoric fossils. The painting offers an interpretation of the history of man and early life on earth. With the use of modern scientific instruments, the discovery of bones are no longer linked to the possibility of dragons of the past, instead the dragon becomes a metaphor of the evil side of man. The red sky looming dangerously on the horizon... instilling fear and confusion. For further information and other works by Richard Batty, please consult our web page HF Contemporary Art. www.hfcontemporaryart.com info@hfcontemporaryart.com
