I was born in New York City, and grew
up in Brooklyn, New York.
In addition to experiencing life with my encouraging husband and raising our three wonderful children, my time is joyfully
spent painting realistically, with a twist of surrealistic enthusiasm.
I paint what inspires me. I can also be commissioned to paint specific scenery or portraits.
 |
| |
| About the Artist |
I paint and record the impact of what I see, hear and notice in a chosen moment: studying details for scenery or a portrait, but then stepping back to get the broader view. Light, sight and sound are all essential.
Math problem-solving is my cross-trainer. Art is related to math: both disciplines require inner vision to discover balanced solutions. Math organizes my mind and trains me to think analytically, which is useful in creating art. As an artist, I am inspired by interesting beauty, in many forms, that I encounter. My goal is to introduce viewers to my realistic artwork, rich in detail, broad in feeling. My HOPE is that my work will create an awakened, sharpened view, and that as viewers get to know my paintings, they will experience a connection. |
