Born in the United States in 1960, Julie Leiman Weaver was raised in Connecticut, and educated in Boston and at Parson's School of Design in New York City. After earning a Master's Degree in 1985, Julie spent 12 years working as an Art Director in Boston, MA. She moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1990. |

"Painting for me means capturing a moment in time, in light, in sound, in temperature, in color. It's a moment that intrigued me and called to me to record it forever. If I've been successful, not only will the beauty of that split second be captured, but every time I view the painting I will always be able to remember why." |
