|
Madelon Jones, born in Brooklyn New York, became interested in Art at the early age of six. Her parents wisely found an art teacher since she was definitely not interested in ballet. The rest is history.

| About the Artist |
My goal as an artist is to create works that are beautiful and thought provoking. I am in interested in nature, the play of light, and the emotional response these things provoke.
The seasons dramatically affect my work. Textures change as a day passes. As the light moves from horizon to horizon shapes are constantly in motion. To me, each month of each season inspires a gestalt of color, form and movement. I’m not interested in trying to replicate the reality of what I’m seeing but rather abstract the visual essence and emotional content that it inspires.
