I AM AN ART-PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN CANADA, BUT I SHOOT INTERNATIONALLY. MY PRIMARY INTERESTS INCLUDE PORTRAITS, GLAMOUR/FASHION, AND ART NUDES. HOWEVER, THE NUDE--the naked human form of either gender is my ideal subject matter. my main aim is to keep the visual experience from getting stale. i work on enhancing the erotic element, and on figurative abstracts. 'eroticism', in my experience, is directly related to a photographic model's wholesome imagination and intellect. for this reason, i also have special pleasure in doing 'deep' portraits of such subjects.

my inspiration often comes from my own exposure to tantric eroticism, paganism, and shamanic experiences--especially in asia, in south america among the andean peoples, and in the tundra of the high canadian arctic.

the images i make--images of faces and nude bodies--are ambiguously located between essential isolation and tentative reaching out. neither feeling is untrue, nor is either dispensable. i don't believe that successful reaching out brings permanent joy, just some short staying of loneliness. happiness is in living intense moments as often as possible. or, that's how it appears to me.
