What marks my artistic work? What is the typical at it and which is me importantly? Over many years busy me a request, an idea - the effect of the light in the picture to en change - to get "light". I looked for a possibility of bringing the pictures to seeming. The action of light in the past painting was unsatisfactory for me. There I mean colors themselves , began I manufacture to experiment to change the composition of the colors and came to enrich on the idea the color with glass. Glass in different grinding - from finely to rougher glass balls. Glass reflects that Light and with pigments and a special bonding agent resulted a "glaeserne" color. Thus I work today, with this glaesernen color, glaze for glaze. The pictures, which see you, are like that developed. For the moment I prime also all canvases with a glass mixture - which color stands unusually differently on such undergrounds. Depending upon the light of the viewer and point of view changes the radiant emittance of the picture pours. Naturally only in the original, these pictures are very difficult to photograph. Glass is transparency - light is transparency - and my topics need this transparency.
The materials have for me a symbolic character.. An example of it is that Picture "answer of the soul of the world" - the upper range is with much glass and transparent Indifferenzpig menten painted, the lower range with earth and bleipigmenten. everyone Picture needs its right mixture. Further an important criterion for me is the directness of the pictures - want I the direct confrontation of the viewer with my figures.
And the topics? They crystallized in the course of the years - to have develops. There were times of the abstract experiments and is enough time only round one of pictures - now, the latter Years I came to the figurativ fantastischen representation .
