Long time NYC painter & filmmaker & classical music composer. Merging his talents he's completing an Indie feature about Jackson Pollock where Pollock at start of my film doesn't die in the car crash, enabling things to gradually move to today -- & beyond with a wide cast of famous NYC artists & critics playing all the roles. In a scene shot in NYC's Gagosian Gallery the real Damien Hirst & I discuss Pollock & what Damien wants to see not happen. www.PollockSquared.com
About the Artist
I've also been uniquely videoing the NYC art worlds most spectacular openings in a broad range of aesthetics in intimate revealing ways at top galleries, museums & cutting edge alternative spaces for more than a decade. I'm attempting to bring a highly edited version to DVD for art lovers everywhere so they might experience them as they actually unfolded or in any order wished. Eg., I uniquely videoed Tracy Emin's first big NYC gallery solo show opening in NYC in the 90's as well as that of Chris Ofilli -- plus all Damien Hirst major openings. Did a passionate award winning film about Picasso (acquired by MoMA) & an amusing TV fictionalized play about Julian Schnabel, See Director's page www.Pollocksquared.com

Primitive Instinct
1996 acrylic on canvas 150h X 100
The Healing Polarity. This painting owes a great deal to Joseph Campbell & his concerns about spirituality & archetypes & their continuing relevance for the modern world -- provided they can be re-created in fresh & deeper ways for now.
Green Boy
1963 acrylic on masonite 90 X 60
A self portrait
The Moon Again
1966 oil & acrylic on linen 180 X 120
Apparently prescient -- this painting was earlier done about humanity stretching out during the earlier manned moon landings. With NASA & the USA now newly fired up again, it now however seems equally to be about the exciting almost magical vision of soon returning to the moon for the purpose of setting up a permanent base -- as an eventual stepping stone to the outer solar system & likely far beyond.
Education and biography
Artist/ engineer/ scientist/ USAF jet pilot / Whitney Independent Study Program in painting & NYC SOHO resident. Collaborated with Nam June Paik, Willougby Sharp & many others. Maven of modern Apple computer technology dealing with cutting edge animation & editing tools. My Pollock film will be processed in a technique reminiscent but different than "Waking Life".
Future shows
Hopeful premiere of Pollocksquared at MoMA in 2007. Early segments first shown there in 2001. A new 2006 Pollock book by Don Wigal 'Veiling the Image" on Amazon.com includes material contrasting my film very favorably with Ed Harris's version & giving me as much positive attention throughout the book.
Another of my in process Indie films include an epic Si Fi film set in NYC.
