| An authentic Pacific Northwest coast canoe and a Pontiac Firefly automobile finished with Copper and a studio made paint of Argillite (oil bearing shale) dust.
The canoe was created by Canadian icon Bill Reid (look at the Canadian 20$ bill) and current Council of the Haida Nation President Guujaau.
Pedal to the Meddle was exhibited at the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, the National Arts Center in Ottawa, Canada and is now in the permanent collection of the Glenbow Museum in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. |
