Born in 1956 in Wigan I served an apprenticeship at British Leyland after leaving school, it was the right thing to do in those days. Art had always been more of a hobby until at the age of 46, with the support of my wife and children, I accepted redundancy and completed a fine art degree at UCLan. |

Mass visual information is an accepted part of our day-to-day existence. Television, video, film and advertisements have become our emotional fix; the characters take us on a fictitious journey that affects our psyche in different ways. |
