Born in 1972, he has been a practising artist since 2003 in Singapore. He is also an Art educator lecturing at Temasek Polytechnic (Design Integrated Studies) and First Media Design School in Singapore. He also runs various Art and Design courses under his company, Composite Art & Design. |

Lau Sheow Tong is interested in ‘Kitsch’ icons and products which are widely popular and relevant to us at present time. His style is immediately ‘Pop’ with his subjects often represented in bright colours. |

| Education and biography | |
| He has exhibited his work in group shows like Expose (2003) and Pink & Blue (2003) with Chateau D’ Arts gallery (Singapore) . Dine in Nudes (2003) marked his solo attempt, with exhibition of his mixed media life paintings and drawings on human forms at Kin Thai restaurant (Singapore). His second solo exhibition “Lucky Cat” was at Utterly Art gallery (Singapore) in Jan 2007 with his humorous interpretation of the Lucky Cat. His other group show, Emergent Talent - 5 Artists for the Future, was at Sunjin Galleries (Singapore)in July 2007. 'Fantasy of Luck', his third solo exhibition has taken place at Utterly Art gallery (Singapore)in Jan 2008. His latest group show 'Sweetalicious' was at Sunjin Galleries in Dec 2008. He holds a Master in Fine Arts with LaSalle College of the Arts (Singapore), a postgraduate diploma in Education with National Institute of Education (Singapore) and a Bachelor Degree in Arts & Social Sciences with National University of Singapore. |
