I`m a painter. Since 1976. In my work the geography is the esential support of my reflections. The TARAPACA desert in the north of the country, the Central valleys, The middle south, and the patagonia landscape at this time. The sea, the islands, The big Ships. I work with all that esences. And the human ancestral presences who lived in that places.

I was born as an artist with the GENERACION DE LOS 80, ( www.mnba.cl ) a group of young artist who defend the art of painting as the language to make his own Contemporary art expression.Same that ocurre in the all world. We represented Chile in many ocations.
Now The last three years my work inspiration is vinculate with the islands Forest ( in permanent degradation), and the several ships who making the scenary of the wild south of the world. The Patagonian Forest at this time, is a singular landscape where the lights and Shadows, The clouds and the Sea makes a surreal and natural drama. The wild jungle is very deep and the colors are luminosous. All can exist is very fragil and strong at the same time.The artist made a reflection about this fragility when he work with the simple paint of the siluets in the top of the ISLANDS.

And Now I´m working in the ATACAMA DESERT.. a new Art Proyect.
